Time to rally behind Obama

As the machine politics rev up the attacks, it is time for those who want a change of course in this country to rally behind Senator Obama. There is only one viable candidate in this race to take back the White House and voters in ten straight states have spoken loud and clear, giving the movement awe-inspiring strength.

Last night, Obama won overwhelmingly again, in two incredibly different states.

Democrats had a lively and spirited debate on the issues over the past year and we have now gone longer in the primary calendar than any time in recent history. The future is clear. Minus the biggest theft since the Supreme Court selection of George W. Bush as President, Barack Obama will be the Democratic nominee. It is time for the Clintons to ride off into the sunset before their legacy is further tarnished by their insistence on hurling surly, unsubstantiated, and false attacks on Obama, unnecessarily giving the right wing political apparatus free ammunition for November.

While the primary calendar moves to Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island on March 4, it would be a shame to see the same old dirty politics pointlessly prevail for two more weeks.
