Five more weeks

After virtually every pundit and survey demonstrated that Obama won Friday's debate, the post-debate national polls are showing Obama starting to significantly extend his lead.

Here's the latest:

ABC News/Washington Post: Obama-52, McCain-43, and who is trusted more to deal with the economic crisis: Obama-53, McCain-39.

Gallop: Obama-50, McCain 42

Rasmussen: Obama-50, McCain 44

Research 2000: Obama-50, McCain-43

After this Thursday's Vice-Presidential debate, we will likely seeing another increase for Obama. If Palin uses McCain's line about making famous those who support pork-barrel spending, Biden should respond by reminding her that she can't name a vice-president (as McCain did in making her famous).
